Beatitude (2025)
|For Piano Trio|
I wanted to write a piece about being in the upmost state of bliss. In these times, we live in a world full of discourse and high tensions. With how fast the world is moving, we need to stop and come back to find that joy of being human. The joy of being alive can bring us to a high state of bliss, that it revitalizes our soul.
ATARAXY (2023)
|For Saxophone Quartet|
Ataraxy is defined as, "A state of serene calmness." This is what I hear.
NEBULA (2023)
|For Brass Quintet|
Nebula is piece about the stars, galaxies and universe. Written for two trumpets in C, French Horn, Tenor and Bass Trombone. When writing Nebula, I imagine a star being born. The music highlights these moments in the stars life.
FLORA (2022)
| For String Quartet |
Flora is a piece about growth, hope, and life. I have known for a long time that I wanted to write music that reflects the cycles of life that we go through. Flora acts as a reflection of my own growth, but is dedicated to anyone who currently feels like there is no hope. Flora is described to have musical phrases and tones that tell a story on its own.
